Getting here:

Bus- We’re conveniently located on the 64 bus route (North to South), and three blocks North of the H2 bus along Columbia Road.

Train- We’re a hop skip and a jump Northeast from the Columbia Heights Metro stop (Green and Yellow lines).

Walking and Driving – Oh, just google it already.

The Team:

Peyton Sherwood – DC born and raised (and son of NBC4 reporter Tom Sherwood), Peyton’s first food service job was in junior high, selling cookies during basketball games at the Georgetown Jelleff Boys & Girls Club. With the exception of a brief stint in the U.S. Virgin Islands, he has earned his chops in the service industry at popular DC-area locals including Chadwicks, Clydes and Fox and Hounds. Most recently Peyton was the Art Director of a local trade show company and is thrilled to partner with Chris Powers & the PORC team to get back into the service industry and behind the bar.

Josh Saltzman – Josh comes to KBC as one of the owners of the PORC food truck. After an amazingly boring time studying aerospace engineering, archaeology and philosophy at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), Josh realized he just likes to cook and talk to people (and talk he does). His favorite color is blue and he is likely to slap you if you ask for mayonaisse on your pastrami sandwich.

Trent Allen – Co-owner of PORC and primary plater of platters. Trent knows lots of weird things about languages no one speaks and really long books. Oh and cooking, he does that sometimes too.

Chris Powers – Chris came to D.C. from Detroit primarily to bother Josh and Trent about why there should be coneys on the menu. To prepare for one day opening a restaurant Chris studied sociology at the University of Michigan where he met Trent and Josh.
